AT THE CIRCUIT

We have some practical tips to ensure you don't have any worries or concerns during the race weekend and can focus on what's happening on the track.

FOOD AND DRINK

Food and drink vendors focus on offering fans a variety of international and local dishes, making sure there's something for everyone to enjoy. There are more than 50 points of sale where you can buy food, drinks, and merchandise.

Please note that alcohol is not sold within public areas at the circuit. The alcohol is served only in hospitality and VIP areas.

From 2024, the Bahrain Grand Prix is completely cashless. Visitors can use their existing major domestic or international physical or digital bank cards, or they can load cash onto a "BIC PAY" card at seven designated top-up booths or through mobile top-up agents.

COMMUNICATIONS

Before you head out to the circuit, make sure you have all the information you need saved on your phone; from tickets to maps and information about your favourite driver. There is a risk that the mobile networks may be overloaded at the circuit and you may not have a data connection, especially on race day. So, you may not be able to call your friends. If you want to meet anyone on Sunday, always arrange a time and place to meet beforehand. just like in the old days when there were no mobile phones.

NOISE

Don't forget that motorsport is very noisy. While the noise is tolerable in the normal stands, make sure you wear earplugs if you're closer to the track. If you're travelling with children, make sure they have ear protectors.

WEATHER

In mid-March, when the F1 race is held, Bahrain enjoys warm and pleasant weather as it transitions into spring. Daytime temperatures usually range between 23°C and 27°C (73°F to 81°F), while nighttime temperatures drop to around 20°C (68°F). Rainfall is minimal, averaging between 11-14 mm for the month, spread over a few days, making it a relatively dry period.
Overall, March is considered an excellent time to host the Bahrain Grand Prix due to the comfortable temperatures and low likelihood of rain.

For the most accurate information, it is advisable to check a reliable weather forecast closer to the date of your visit, as weather conditions can change from year to year. For example, we recommend the Windy app.
